Job Description

Reporting to the VP/GM, this position has full Avionics management responsibility for the people, projects and P/L at the Wilmington, Delaware service center. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

  1. Day to day management of supervisors and technicians performing avionics installations, component repair, and electrical installations and modifications.  This would include hiring, training, regulatory compliance issues, and disciplinary actions as required to ensure performance goals are achieved.                             
  2. Ensure the completion of all project assignments within budget and schedule, and the customer’s expectations are achieved.
  3. Act as the project manager of avionics installations to coordinate all support efforts from purchasing, engineering, and other technical support areas.  Responsible for the technical and business related issues for each avionics project.
  4. Support the avionics sales staff in selling the services of Dassault Falcon Jet-Wilmington. and assist in the development of quotes to ensure financial objectives will be achieved.
  5. Act as the liaison with customer for all avionics projects.
  6. Keep abreast of the latest products and technology from the avionics and electrical systems OEM’s to support customer needs and training for employees.

 


Job Requirements

 

  • Ten (10) or more years Avionics technical experience, prefer at least five in a management type position.
  • Extensive knowledge of Avionics systems (Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, etc).
  • Associates degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Very strong project management skills for multiple projects.
