Avionics Technician - RNO
Job Description
Under the direction of the Crew Leader, the Avionics Technician is responsible for maintaining and installing avionics systems and performing complex troubleshooting, testing and repair of avionics systems and equipment within Company, Division, FAA and FCC policies, procedures and requirements.
Please note that this position is located in Reno, NV.
The incumbent will operate various Digital and Analog Test sets, primarily for line troubleshooting of complex avionics systems, make minor repairs such as extracting bad screws and replacing racks, install and perform ground and flight checks of all avionics systems, etc.
Job Requirements
Qualified applicants must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate from an Electronics/Avionics Technical School or equivalent military experience required. Minimum of two years of experience as an Avionics Technician in corporate aviation. Must supply own tools required to perform job and have the ability to communicate and interface effectively with customers, guests, co-workers and management.
FAA Mechanics Certificate w/ Airframe & Powerplant rating is preferred but not required.
